Begin by asking the children to piece together the mini animal puzzles. The self-correcting pieces help children to recreate the scenes by themselves. The first time (or when playing with very young children) the exercise can be further simplified by presenting the mini puzzle pieces one at a time. Only after the children have had a chance to see the pieces individually, lay them all out on the play surface.
